Meet Morganne Violet
My goal is to plant San Diego with beautiful landscapes and help others enjoy their outdoor space. My approach is a collaborative setting, where you are involved in the design process. I take time to listen and understand how my clients want to live and design a custom landscape that is "beautiful to the eye and peacful to the spirit" as well as functional, sustainable and timeless.
A garden that is compatible with your tastes, lifestyle and
architectural style of the home.
A garden is an art form that can be both lived and enjoyed, and art for that is ever evolving. I approach a new garden as if it were a blank painting canvas.
My primary emphasis is creating water-wise native gardens, that are sustainable, that have a "sense of place", that anchor the home to the landscape by complimenting the homes architecture. Morganne is known to repurpose-reuse-recycle and use products that has the least amount of impact on the environment. One way is to use permeable materials for patio and walkways this allows water to pass through the earth rather than into the storm drain and then into the ocean. Another area Morganne is passionate about is designing a garden that 'gives back' with the use of CA native plants because they are valuable to wild life, another area is edible landscape design and 'rain gardens' or lawn removal and 'victory gardens' edible and wild life gardens or bird gardens. More garden themes Morganne is passionate about are:
Mediterranian Garden, Japanese Garden, Spanish Garden, Victory Garden, CA Native Garden, Edible Gardens.
Morganne has designed landscapes in San Diego county for over 15 years. Morganne is passionate about creating gardens with a ceative thoughtful plant pallet that is compatible to our mediterranean climate.
"Morganne helped design my front yard. After consulting, measuring and discussing, she provided a detailed plan which included not only the hardscape and landscape, but each individual plant included location schematic and planting instructions. Our hardscape contractor was delighted with the plans! Morganne will work with you and doesn't get upset with changes; she can offer planting suggestions for your area and will take your ideas and build on them. We completed the hardscape 1/10/17 and will rework some new ideas with the landscape work. "

"Morganne is amazing!! She took the time to listen to what we wanted and also took the time to get to know us ( and our little one) to design a plan that fits us perfectly! She has also been a pleasure to work with when we needed to make changes after the plans were created. She is such a joy to work with"
Description of work:
We have almost an acre of property in North County and were overwhelmed with what to do with it. We decided to use a landscape designer to help us plan and get a clear vision of how we want our property to look.

"Morganne was top notch on creative design and bringing our ideas to a wonderful new garden area. She put in time, knowledge, and exceptional oversight of the project. She was able to render drawings that gave us the vision that incorporated our ideas and her highly creative touch so that it blended our existing plants and new design seamlessly. Not only was she pleasant to work with, she went the extra mile on...everything. For example, she did the design and then ensured every plant, rock, and design element was integrated and pleasing to the eye. She even planted some of my existing plants in new creative spaces that we had considered throwing out... and they look fabulous! She also did a beautiful metal sculpture that we are hanging outdoors that adds a new flair. She worked well with the landscape company she helped select in being the great connector of all the working parts of design, demolition, and rebirth of our gardens. If you are looking for a great team, look to Morganne and Danny Vu of Smart Landscape!"
